How fees are calculated:
Fees are calculated and charged per calendar month.

For example:
Full time under 2= £41.00 x 5= £205.00 x 52 weeks divided by 12= £888.00

Fees are payable In advance at the beginning of the month by standing order or by childcare vouchers (please see below).

Reduction in fees:

You can pay less each month through one of the following ways:

  • Childcare vouchers:
You can ask your employer if they do these within your company, if not your employer will need to set up an account with the providers in order for you to receive these.   These work by what is known as ’salary sacrifice’ arrangement. This is open to one or both working parent’s from your individual employers.  You can receive a voucher for up to £243.00 per month per parent.  If your monthly fee exceeds this amount then  you can pay the shortfall direct to us in the usual way. The £243.00 (or £486.00 if there are vouchers from both parents) is exempt from National Insurance and Income Tax, your employer also benefits from a saving.  The childcare vouchers may be used for more then one child but the total benefit is capped at £243.00 per month regardless of the number of children you have.
The vouchers can be in the form of a paper voucher which we will redeem by contacting the childcare scheme, or the voucher can be paid electronically.
  • Government Funding:
Some children over two years old receive funding, eligibility is discussed with the parent when their child is over two.
Children over the age of three receive government funding, this is given the term after they are three. You will automatically be given the appropriate form when your child is eligible.
The three terms in the year are:
    1st January-31st March (spring)
    1st April- 31st August  (summer)
    1st September- 31st December (Autumn)
You can receive £8.00 per session (half a day)up to a maximum of at least 55 sessions per term (this can sometimes be up to 70 sessions).  The maximum available per annum would be at least £8.00 x 55 x 3= £1320.
Funding will be discussed in more detail when a child is registered at the nursery.
